I worked in the video game industry for eight years as a programmer. I completed BLASTO for Sony Entertainment, then Spiderman and Tony Hawk Pro Skater III for Neversoft. (If you have THPS3 you can see what I look like by going to 'Create A Skater' and typing in 'Gorilla' for the skater name. In real life I don't skate as well as I skate in the game). I have worked on every aspect of video games, from special effects programming to resource management to console sound engines to artificial intelligence to weapons. To make a bad guy chase Spiderman (and to put up a good fight without looking like he's 'cheating' too much), or to make the cars drive around in THPS3, or to make the aliens fly around and shoot at Blasto, or to make Blasto's weapons fun and explosive, I had to dig deep and utilize all of my math skills, in three dimensions. So when I meet a student who asks, "How does geometry or physics apply to the real world?" -- I can actually provide an answer! I have worked for several of the top tutoring outfits, but I decided it would be better to cut out the middle man, save YOU money, and handle my own scheduling directly with my clients. Every tutoring session I provide is satisfaction guaranteed! I am very good at explaining math from a practical level. I ask the student most of the questions to ensure that he or she understands each subject. I love math, and after using math for so many years in practical applications, math is natural for me, so I can come up with endless examples in order to illustrate any principle.
